What is love?
- Love isn't finding another half to make you whole. You are whole. Love is surrounding yourself with people who lift you up and make you better.
- Love isn't chocolate or flowers or sexy lingerie. Love is compromise, and friendship and mundanities.
- Love isn't poetry or soppy song lyrics. Love is listening to the same rubbish story until you carry the well-worn words with you.
- Love isn't romantic. Love is an eye roll between siblings, a meal shared with parents, a belly laugh with a best friend. It’s the enthusiastic embrace of a very good dog, the familiarity of home, the memories we have made.
